EWOPA
European Working Group on Psychosocial Aspects of Children with Chronic Kidney Disease
What is EWOPA and what can you gain from joining it?
- A multidisciplinary group interested in the psychosocial welfare of children with chronic and end-stage kidney disease.
- Annual in-presence meetings and occasional online meetings with topics focusing on the patient, the family, the carers, social problems, support care and treatment, ethics and politics.
- The aims of the EWOPA are to share with each other the best of everyone’s experiences and practice, so that all our patients, families, and staff can benefit.
- Every child with chronic kidney disease has the right to play and learn and have social activities, despite their illness and hospitalisation.
We can make that happen.
