European Working Group on Psychosocial Aspects of Children with Chronic Kidney Disease
What is EWOPA and what can you gain from joining it?
A multidisciplinary group interested in the psychosocial welfare of children with chronic and end-stage kidney disease.
Annual meetings with topics focusing on the patient, the family, the carers, social problems, support care and treatment, ethics and politics.
The aims of the EWOPA are to share with each other the best of everyone’s experiences and practice, so that all our patients, families, and staff can benefit.
Every child with chronic kidney disease has the right to play and learn and have social activities, despite their illness and hospitalisation.
